Do you interested in all kinds of plastics in life?

Let me introduction for you.
PVC:
Advantages: Excellent acid and alkali resistance, electric insulation, fire resistance, self-extinguishing (household appliances), wear-resistant, sound absorption and shock absorption
Hard pvc surface hardness high tensile strength (higher than PE, crystal ABS) can be used as engineering materials
Soft pvc is soft, elastic and resistant to folding
Disadvantages: not resistant to organic solvents, sensitive to heat during processing, poor thermal stability, easy to degrade when heated
Hard PVC, low temperature will become brittle; Soft PVC, will harden at low temperature. Hard PVC is sensitive to strain and is not easy to recover after deformation. Soft pvc processing process will decompose a small amount of HCL, easy to cause equipment corrosion
q1
PS:
Advantages: acid and alkali resistance and low energy alcohol electrical insulation good transparency, high surface gloss, easy to print, free coloring, no odor, high temperature resistance and aging resistance
Disadvantages: hard and brittle surface hardness is low easy to scratch resistance to most organic solvents.
q2
PP:
Advantages: resistance to bending fatigue, resistance to boiling water cooking (medical instruments, tableware) strong mechanical properties at room temperature > pe> abs> ps, high temperature mechanical properties will not decrease too much, low temperature mechanical properties is poor, will be hard, brittle with excellent surface luster (home appliance shell)
Disadvantages: insufficient rigidity at high temperature, brittle at low temperature; Poor environmental resistance, not suitable for outdoor use of tensile strength anisotropy, products easy to deformation printing performance poor resistance to long-term load.
q3
ABS:
Advantages: good gloss quality hard tenacity rigid mechanical properties moderate easy printing low temperature impact performance good size stability and water resistance
Disadvantages: poor weather resistance resistance to organic solvents (easy to crack)
q4
PMMA:
Advantages: Optical properties, can pass through other transparent materials can not pass through the light, light can be conducted in the interior, can be used as fiber aging resistance
Disadvantages: Low surface hardness and scratch resistance
FRP: Also known as GRP, glass steel
Light weight, high tensile strength (even greater than the steel bar) good corrosion resistance to all kinds of solvents good electrical performance, excellent insulation, good thermal performance, low thermal conductivity, high temperature resistance and good design
Disadvantages: insufficient rigidity, poor long-term temperature resistance, low shear degree between aging layers in harsh environment.

PET:
Advantages: Good mechanical properties, impact strength is 3~5 times of other films, good folding resistance
Resistance to most solvents
The heat resistance of pure PET is not high, and the thermal deformation temperature is only about 85℃, but. The thermal deformation temperature of glass fiber reinforced PET can reach 225℃
PET has good aging resistance
PET does not burn easily
Impermeability, excellent resistance to gas, water, oil and odor.
High transparency, can block UV, good luster.
Non-toxic, tasteless, good health and safety, can be directly used for food packaging.
Good creep resistance, fatigue resistance, friction resistance and dimensional stability, small wear and high hardness, good insulation
Disadvantages: poor corona resistance
The molding shrinkage rate is large, the dimensional stability is poor, the crystallization molding is brittle, the heat resistance is low
Resistance to weak acids and organic solvents, but not heat resistant to water immersion, alkali resistance.
q5
HDPE:
Advantages: acid and alkali resistance to organic solvent point insulation good low temperature can maintain a certain toughness
Surface hardness tensile strength is stronger than LDPE
Disadvantages: poor mechanical property, poor permeability, easy deformation, easy aging, easy stress cracking
Brittle, scratchy and difficult to print

LDPE:
Advantages: acid and alkali resistance to organic solvents good electrical insulation at low temperature can maintain a certain toughness
Disadvantages: poor mechanical property, poor permeability, easy deformation, easy aging, easy stress cracking, easy scratching and difficult to print
